A Bryan, TX native, Jacquelyn was a standout varsity player at Bryan High School, where she earned the Diamond/NFCA High School Catcher of the Year (2021), First Team High School All-American Catcher (2021), and NFCA All-Region South Central First Team honors. She also set multiple school records as a catcher during her high school career. Jacquelyn went on to play four years of Division I softball at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she was recognized as a multi-time NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete. She graduated with a B.S. in Psychology, along with three minors and three certificates, and now combines her academic background with her athletic experience in her coaching. Jacquelyn continues to be part of The Lab, where her instruction emphasizes both the mental and physical demands of catching, with a focus on fundamentals, game management, confidence, and leadership development.
