Softball Defensive Clinic

Led by Former Texas A&M Standout Sav Price & Paige Lott

Ages 11-14 - Open to all skill levels

  • Hands-on instruction from former Texas A&M softball standouts
  • Focused defensive training to build confidence and sharpen skills
  • Positive, fun, and competitive learning environment

What We’ll Cover:

  • Infield & outfield defense
  • Agility & footwork
  • Glove work & defensive positioning
  • Throwing mechanics & accuracy- Including velocity testing!
  • Overall defensive fundamentals
  • Prepare for tryouts!

What to Bring:

  • Glove & face mask
  • Turf or molded cleats (bring alternate shoes if rainy)
  • Refillable water bottle

Meet Your Instructors:

Sav Price
Arizona State University (2021, 2022, 2023)
Texas A&M University (2024)

Senior transfer Sav Price joined the Aggies this summer. The Rio Linda, Calif., native, appeared in 114 career games, including 72 starts at Arizona State. In her first two seasons in Tempe under coach Ford, Price registered a .342 batting average and a .506 slugging percentage. As a sophomore she helped lead ASU to its first super regional since 2018, while recording career-bests in runs (20), hits (18), walks (11) and RBI (9).

Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Loyalty, Respect and Selfless Service are six core values that exemplify every Aggie. Lott demonstrated these traits in every aspect of being the best teammate she can be to unanimously earn the recognition from her teammates ... Earned a walk in the series finale 2-0 win over Ole Miss to complete the sweep on April 21 ... Was 1-for-1, while adding a run in the win over Long Beach State on Feb. 29.
